About ROLDA

ROLDA philosophy is to provide shelter and medical care for abused, homeless and abandoned animals but also to create a relationship with the local community who care about their own animals, who don’t have financial means to fully care for them but have the willingness to look after them and their farm animals in a responsible way.

Will my order help #roldadogs?

Briefly, yes! Your order will help #roldadogs in two ways:
1. the proceeds from every order goes to direct animals needs
2. by wearing an item from ROLDA Shop, you raise awareness in your community about ROLDA which indirectly help our dogs…

But the great part is that ROLDA Shop also help kind Romanian artisans who care about animals!

The Shop wasn’t created because ROLDA staff is too relaxed or has too much free time, contrarily. We made a huge team effort to put together this shop for our supporters to enjoy this experience. Our goal is helping local artisans who struggle economically by creating objects related to animals – it’s our small way to help good, compassionate Romanian community. Our other goal is to present to our supporters unique, useful and personalized items and ultimately, to make this online shop experience as pleasant, useful and interesting as possible.

About our products

Starting from our principle, that any charitable work, including animal work, is not possible without community support, ROLDA makes efforts to help the Romanian community that care about the animals, by providing support, in the limit of our own resources, to individuals who respect animals and put their skills at work to improve animal welfare in Romania.


On ROLDA Shop, our products are marked:


- Made in Romania – when the products are authentically made in Romania


- Hand made in Romania – when the products are 100% made by Romanian artisans


- Made in the US (other countries) – when the products are authentically made in the US (other countries)


- Shipped from China – when the supplies come from China


ROLDA is trying hard to avoid any countries with known human rights violations.

What if I forget my password?

After I register, will I receive ROLDA mail or e-mail promotions?

Yes. When you register or place an order with us, you're automatically added to our mailing list. If you'd like to be removed, just let us know.

Can I place an order without registering?

No, unfortunately this is not possible.
It is a very simple process to register, it takes 30 seconds and you can return to shop anytime you want using the login details. If you loose password or need technical advice, don't worry - we are here to assist you.

What will you do with my information after I register?

Personal information relating to you and your order history are only available to you if you provide the correct password that you created. After providing your password, you can edit or delete your information at any time from the Your Account page. ORDER

Acceptance of Order

All orders are subject to product availability.

All orders are subject to acceptance by us. Acceptance may be withheld at our absolute discretion. An order is only accepted when we take payment from an acceptable credit or debit card.

Certain products on the site may only be sold legally to persons over a certain age. We reserve the right to refuse any order for those products where satisfactory proof of age has not been provided.

Change in your Order Status

Occasionally, we run out of certain items that are in high demand. If an item that you ordered is not in stock, we'll notify you by e-mail immediately about possible delays.

Sometimes, an item is permanently out of stock, so we must cancel the order for it. In this case, we will return your donation immediately.

Order Confirmation

You’ll receive an email from ROLDA after you place your order and provide us with a valid email address. In this email, we will confirm that your order was received and we will estimate a delivery date for the items purchased.

Secure Ordering

We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to secure your online order information. To check the security of your connection, look in the lower left-hand corner of your browser window for an "unbroken key" icon or a "closed padlock" icon (depending on your browser). If you see one of these icons, SSL is active. To double-check for security, see if the site address in your browser window has changed from "http" to "https" in the address or URL line.

Some browser versions and some firewalls do not permit connections with secure servers. If you experience this problem, please send us an email at..

PAYMENT

Payment Options

ROLDA Shop process payments using the following online secure services: PayPal and Stripe.

For security purposes, please do not send cash. In addition, please do not include your credit card number in any email communication.

Charging Your Credit Card

Charging your card is made by Stripe secure online payments provider.

We are not responsible for typographical errors made by the customer.

Order Currency

All orders are billed in US$.

I think my credit card has been charged twice

If there are duplicate charges on your credit card statement, we would be glad to refund the additional charges.

DELIVERY

Shipping

Most purchases are shipped via Posta Romana (http://www.posta-romana.ro/)

International shipping services include:

Letter mail service,

Letter mail service with acknowledgement of receipt,

Registered international small package,

International postal parcel

EMS (Express Mail Service).

ROLDA Shop displays the cheapest postal service.

Shipping Address Option

Packages can be sent to the same address as your billing address or to another address.

Returns & Exchange

We do not accept exchange or returns.

Minimum Delivery Time* to ship to:

Europe: 5-7 days

USA and Canada: 7-12 days

Australia, UAE, Japan: 14 days

* It is calculated from the moment the items are drop off at Romanian post and it refers to orders received Monday through Thursday 8pm EET

Multiple Shipments

If your order is sent in multiple shipments (either to the same destination or to different ones), your credit card will be charged separately for each shipment.

Donate property

ROLDA accepts donations of real property such as a residence, vacation home, farm, vacant lot, or commercial property that have appreciated in value over the years. In most instances, you may claim the full market value of the property as a charitable contribution and bypass the capital gains tax you would incur if the property were sold instead of donated. Email legacy@rolda.org about bequests, trusts, annuities, retirement plans, estate planning, gifts of cars, real estate, or matters pertaining to personal wills.

Ways to give

Tax Deductibility

Depending in which country you reside, your donation may qualify for a tax deduction or benefit. Please refer to your individual acknowledgement letter for tax information for each donation made. Please consult a tax advisor regarding the tax deductibility of your donation and/or purchase.

OTHERS

Losses

We will not be responsible for any business loss (including loss of profits, revenue, contracts, anticipated savings, data, goodwill or wasted expenditure) or any other indirect or consequential loss even if the loss was reasonably foreseeable to both you and us when you commenced using the website or when the contract for the sale of goods was formed. However, ROLDA does not limit in any way our liability by law for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or breach of duty or caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Events beyond our reasonable control

We will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these conditions if the delay or failure arises from any cause which is beyond our reasonable control. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.
